Von Schierholz Center Compote with Cupids – ca. 1860-1906
Large impressive Von Schierholz (Germany) figural porcelain
centerpiece/compote (very heavy) depicting three cupids in contemplating
manner. Molded floral decor of raised flowers and leaves and handpainted. Two
pieces, bowl separates from stand. Blue underglaze mark from ca. 1860-1906.
Very good condition, but a few flower petals and leaves have some chips. But
the overall condition is very good. Measurements approximately: 12" long
x 12" high x 12" wide.
