Meissen – Porcelain Inkwells – ca. 1830
These rare Meissen inkwells and tray are for the serious
collector. As you can see from the pictures the gilded decoration is
partially washed off, but that doesn't take away the beauty and exclusiveness
of this original antique Meissen craftsmanship. Though the lid for one of the
ink pot's is missing, you'll enjoy this antique without it, too. There are no
chips or cracks on these 3 pieces. The Meissen mark on the inkwells are from
1817-1824 and from the ink tray around 1820-1840. Measurements approximately
of ink tray: 8.5" long x 5.5" wide x 1" high. Measurements
approximately of ink pots: 2" high x 2" wide.
